Top Ten Favorite Kick-Ass Heroines

The latest trend, outside of dystopias and love triangles, is a kick-ass female lead and I am on-board. But I'm not just limiting my heroines to adventures.  Girls (and boys) can kick butt in non-adventures.  So, here are my

    ANNABETH. I love her! And Hermione's a given, of course. Ramona's a great choice, too; I kind of wish I'd thought to include her. So many options!

    I've forgotten about Turtle Wexler! The shin-kicking, stock market whiz little girl! Violet and Matilda are wonderfully tough kids geniuses too. I have Katniss and Hermione on my list as well. :)
