Hi, I'm an incredibly sarcastic librarian-to-be who loves children's and young adult literature.  

I'm currently trying to build my knowledge of new and "classic" (a term I hate) literature, so I'm working my way through  the 1001 Children's Books You Must Read Before You Grow Up via a random number sequence and providing thoughts, library/classroom programming tie-in suggestions, and sarcastic touches for each entry.  

I also love lists, so I participate in The Broke and the Bookish's Top Ten Tuesday meme and my own Friday Five.  FF is when I do a random list of book or library related items in which I'm currently interested (because I'm self-centered).
